Topic: Trigonometry Subtopic: Bearings
We have decided to do the topic bearings. Our plan is to use a power point with graphics, sound and video clippings as the introduction, to develop the lesson students will be be taken outdoors to determine the bearings of certain objects from one point using the materials they will be provided with. We are unsure of how we can include interactive media within the lesson. Students will be interacting with the materials and knowledge through games ( a treasure hunt).

I like your concept. You can use interactive media to help students explore the concept a little further. You can develop a webquest using powerpoint. You can also use powerpoint to develop a quiz for your evaluation.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mr. Emmanuel for your suggestions, they will be taken into consideration. We have ideas that will take quite a bit of time, and take the students out of the classroom so they appreciate the relevance of bearings. This makes it difficult to incorporate a hefty amount of technology. We might have to consider changing our idea so we can actually pass this assignment!
